[HYDRO-] TETRIS | URBAN FLOOD PAVILION

[HYDRO-] tetris, is a modular concept that ameliorates urban flooding and increases green-space through contextual multi-use outdoor basins. The project takes advantage of a variety of empty or underutilized parcels that exist throughout the city of Tucson, to allow for quick action and problem solving. We worked in tandem with hydrologists from the city of Tucson and officials from Pima County, to create the informational book shown below. The book was given to locals and members of both the city and county councils to raise awareness to flooding issues, and possible solutions.
